Contribution to the Best Practices Guide elaborated by the Smart Destinations Network of the Valencian Community (SDN-VC Network) thanks to a pilot project developed in Peñíscola with the smart mobile application “Peñíscola Live the Game”, being one of the first 10 companies to be integrated into this Spanish network.
The SDN-VC Network is a group of tourist destinations that, in the words of the Valencian Institute of Tourism Technologies (Invat.tur) “was created with the intention of creating a framework of relationships between destinations and create synergies between them, as well as with companies and tourist entities of the Valencian Community. Its objective, in a collaborative learning environment, is to generate knowledge transfer among its members to facilitate the evolution of the planning and management of tourist destinations based on the SDN-VC model and thus turn the Valencian Community into a smart tourist territory».
